Retrospective 3- Taking the air with Master Basho and Maestro Ravel.

This was an exhibition I had in 2008. I was fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Australia Council for the Arts to complete this project. It was an imaginary twilight walk I took with 17th century Haiku poet Matsuo Basho and 19th century composer Maurice Ravel. This exhibition was at e.g.etal.
I think you could say that the moral of this story is that if you have a solo show you should probably get it photographed by a professional photographer, obviously I didn't. I took these photos myself and didn't realise how bad they were until the show was over. Really disappointing. I've reconciled with it now but it took a long time to get over.
